Artists Fixative by W&N

Artists' Transparent Fixative - Winsor and Newton

A colourless medium which provides protection of charcoal, pencil, pastel or chalk drawings.

Specially formulated to reduce smudging and dusting. Dries rapidly. Supplied in easy application CFC free aerosol can.

Colourless: will not affect pastel colour although the fixative spray may darken the colour tone.
Durable: providing a protective layer to improve the adhesion of particles to the surface and lightfastness
Workable: Can be applied to surface while working. A protective layer can be applied which can then be worked over again.
Artists' Fixative Transparent can be applied immediately, use in thin coats.

We are informed by Winsor & Newton that this product is exactly the same as the product sold in America as W&N Workable Fixative, the only difference is in the packaging.

Please note this product should be used in a well ventilated room, or preferably outdoors.
