Moleskine is the heir of the legendary notebook used for the past two centuries by great artists and thinkers, including Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway, and Bruce Chatwin and held their sketches, notes, stories, and ideas before they became famous images or beloved books.

Moleskine notebooks have a cardboard bound cover with rounded corners, a bookmark and an elastic closure. An expandable inner pocket made of cardboard and cloth contains the Moleskine history. The acid free paper pages are thread bound which lay perfectly flat when opened.
